Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Sweden was formed in 2014 when two of Sweden’s most iconic brands, OLW and Göteborgs Kex, merged. In 2022, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks acquired the Nordic confectionery company Bubs Godis.
The OLW brand is market leader in the Swedish snacks category and Göteborgs Kex holds the same leading position for biscuits. Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Sweden has 450 employees in Sweden. In Filipstad, Värmland, the company produces snacks under the OLW brand, including Sweden’s best-selling snacks – the beloved cheez doodles. OLW has agreements with approximately 35 potato growers in Skåne and our potato warehous is located in Nöbbelöv. Our Bubs candy production is located in Jönköping.
